Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 16, 2026
We collect the minimum data necessary to facilitate your real estate transaction. Specifically, we collect:
- Identity Information — Government-issued ID and selfie data collected during verification to confirm your identity before scheduling property tours or submitting offers.
- Financial Data — Transaction summaries, offer prices, earnest money amounts, and financing details necessary to generate contracts and coordinate closings.
- Communication Logs — Messages sent within the Transaction Room are stored to provide a verifiable audit trail for all parties and to support dispute resolution.
- Property Data — Listing details, photos, and showing schedules provided by sellers to facilitate buyer searches.
We do not collect your full Social Security Number, bank account credentials, or credit card information through the platform.
We do not sell your personal data. Your information is shared only as required to facilitate your transaction.
Your data may be shared with the following parties involved in your transaction only:
- The other party in your transaction (Buyer or Seller)
- The Title Company assigned to your transaction
- Authorized Agents connected to your transaction
- Service providers directly involved in closing (e.g., inspectors you schedule)
We do not sell your personal lead data to third-party mortgage companies, insurance providers, marketing firms, or any other organizations not directly involved in your transaction.
We may share data with law enforcement or legal authorities when required by a valid court order or subpoena.
We take the security of your personal and financial information seriously. Our security practices include:
- Industry-Standard Encryption — All data transmitted to and from the platform is encrypted using TLS 1.2+ in transit and AES-256 at rest.
- Secure Access Tokens — Your Transaction Room and sensitive document links are protected with cryptographically secure 32-byte hex tokens, making unauthorized access computationally infeasible.
- Role-Based Access Control — Only users with a verified role in a specific transaction (Buyer, Seller, Title, or Agent) can access that transaction's data.
- Audit Logging — All document access, signature events, and status changes are logged with timestamps and user identifiers for compliance and dispute resolution.
While we implement robust security measures, no platform can guarantee absolute security. We encourage users to use strong, unique passwords and to report any suspicious activity to security@odisone.com.
